Textra is an innovative automation script developed using Extendscript/Javascript to run within After Effects. It aims to automate the AE workflow for character animation, optimising studio efficiency and streamlining the creation of projects. Simply import your voice over audio files into AE and activate using the custom UI, then compositions/scenes are automatically created and characters added, with keyframes repositioned and movement synchronised with volume levels. It then imports, trims and assembles these onto a master timeline, adds a soundtrack and automatically renders.
